During the studies of Human Computer Interaction I developed a great passion towards prototyping. Conceptualizing new products and building prototypes is probably the most fun in the field of HCI.
Here I collect interesting and fun projects I created throughout the years, as well as my scientific work.

My work of the past years can be explored here and in the next section. Due to NDA agreements I cannot share detailed examples of my work at BMW. Anyway I list it here in my portfolio, as these career stages shaped my experience significantly.
2025
Adaptive UI for automotive 3D Head Up Display
For my Master Thesis at BMW, I conceptualized, implemented and evaluated a working prototype of an adaptive UI for autmotive 3D Head-Up Displays. I used a stereoscopic 3D HUD and Unity 3D to enable the experience in a moving vehicle.

During my Working Student Employment at BMW, I participated in developing the Next-Gen User Experience for BMW vehicles.
From building prototypes of existing concepts and sharing knowledge with collegues in self-designed prototyping courses to taking part in brainstorming sessions for future concepts - I am proud that I was part of this amazing team who created the future for BMW automotive UI.BMW Panoramic iDrive

Lil'E
Lil'E is a concept for the so-called "remote student". We created a functional hardware prototype operating with micropython. Learn more about Lil'E on the official Online Blog Page of this University Course here.

Information Visualisation
During the LMU Course "Information Visualization" we created an interactive web application to compare patent application data of different european countries in different years. For the implementation we used React, node.js, D3.js and python. You can still play around with that app here.
video prototypes
During my Studies of HCI at LMU Munich, multiple video protoypes evolved. They usually present a product or application that we developed during a lecture or course. Some of them are more serious than others, we often produced them with a little dose of sarcasm. As most of the video editing and filming was my responsibility, I present video prototypes here as a seperate category.

GERD
This Project was part of the Practical Course "Sketching with Hardware".
We conceptualized and built a prototype of a physical display. An artificial plant that reacts to the user's wanter consumption. By displaying an unhealthy state when the water consumtion is too high, we motivate the owner of the product to rethink their actions.

Smart Home Ecosystem
This Project was part of the Practical Course "Practical Web Programming". As a Team we created an entire, fully functional ecosystem for Smart Home devices. With its focus und data privacy and transparency, we created a novel concept for future Smart Home Ecosystems.
2022
Museum App
This Project was part of the Practical Course "Design Workshop 2" in cooperation with the Museum Brandhorst in Munich. By providing a playfull treasure hunt through the museum's exhibition, our app concept enrichens the visitor's experience in the digital dimension.
2024
Closet.AI
This Project was part of the Lecture "Intelligent User Interfaces". The concept of Closet.AI features a recommender sytem that detects a clothing item the user wants to wear and recommends a matching outfit.

NoteNuker
This Project was part of the Practical Course "Tangible Privacy". By providing a playful solution to the security risk of using paper post-its for critical information it aims to increase privacy and security in office environments.
2022
MoneyFlow
This Project was part of the Lecture "Engineering for Human Factors". It integrates a payment system into a chat environment to make group transactions and sending money to friends easier.
